The place is Erbusco, near the Iseo lake, about three quarters of an hour by car from Milan.

L'Albereta is an ancient patronal residence on the summit of a hill from which the Iseo lake can be surveyed. After a careful restoration it has become a refined "villa inn" furnished very elegantly and with care for details: 41 luxury rooms with precious curtains and fabrics, period furniture, warm parquet floors.

The Sala Scacchi (Chess Room) and Sala Lettura (Reading Room) were organised for business meetings, excellent for small exclusive groups - 20/30 people - , for those who need greater space there is the Celebration Room which can host until 200 people.

A chapter to itself can be written about the restaurant, where the great Gualtiero Marchesi operates, offering his "legendary" dishes and new wonderful creations.

All this unfolds in a quiet and silent atmosphere, where waiters move quickly but without hurry and guests chat at a lowered voice enjoying delicious dishes the slow progress of time.
