A romantic residence, "La Canonica", derived from an ex-convent inside a small medieval village, in the heart of the Siena countryside surrounded by hills and vineyards."La Bagnaia" is a medieval village made up of a country house, a castle – whence you can overview the woods where fallow deer and roe deer live – and a small church from the Romanic age.
In the ex-convent nine rooms have found room, each named after one of the friars who used to live in the ancient monastery, furnished with elegance and rigour suitable for that place.
Visible beams, stone walls, terracotta tiles floors, prestigious ceramics and majolica and many objects from various parts of the world to remind of great travels undertaken by the owner.
The atmosphere is that of a refined country house where you are a guest and not a customer, the nine rooms are furnished in different styles, a nice lounge with a chimney is ideal for conversing pleasantly or relax into reading, the first breakfast is served with grace and includes home-made desserts and fresh fruit.
"La Canonica" is the ideal destination for a “holiday for two”, near Siena, in an area rich with interesting places to visit.
