Behind one of the best known Italian shoe company there are three siblings: Bruno, Marino and Maria Magli whom, in Bologna back in 1936, started a women's shoes production (initially for third parties). The creation of the first plant, which also produced men's shoes, dates to 11 years later - in 1947 - and from that moment on they developed the trade contacts that will lead to ever greater consolidation of the "Magli" brand in Italy and abroad.
Later the first few elegant boutiques in the historical centre of the most representative cities of the "Belpaese" were opened, with elegant furnishings, neat exhibits, expert and courteous personnel welcome an ever growing International clientele.
In the 80's the Magli company develops a franchising retail network which leads, in about twenty years, to around forty "franchises", strewn around in Europe, America, Japan, Far East, China, Australia.
High quality and comfort, bonds between craftsmanship and industrial design, care for details and beauty of models have brought "Magli" shoes to even be exhibited in the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
And, once again, "made in Italy" succeeds.
