Superga's Spring/Summer 2001 collection confirms the passion for outdoor life and absolute comfort. A relaxed style, though accomplice of every daily aspect, 'easy': bluish and light grey colours, marine hues for blues and bronzed for the earth, dark greens, sand. And then unexpected strong and trendy colours, strong red details, wistaria. The woman collection is enriched
with pale pink, lilac and mauve hues, in a total look from swimwear to underwear.
The Superga logo, white and blue, redesigned using the original from the early 60's, inaugurates in the new collection new graphical and design elements, becoming a constant that personalise details.
Superga's swallow tail returns onto the pockets of jeans, stone washed or denim with blue or sand seams. There are the other textiles, linen, jersey with Lycra, cool piquet, cotton. The whole collection is cool, pleasant to wear, absent form any rigidity.
Swimming costumes are agile, quick: men have 50's shorts, women a contrast of nuances, seams, transparent and stretch wefts in models to suit every taste.
Finally, the junior collections, always lively and sunny, match cool dresses and Bermudas to a fashion look that nudges to young girls. Pastel or chromatic colours in cotton, nylon, light plush and piquet.
Superga shoes
A collection suitable for every occasion: eclectic but rational, Superga shoes are all very practical: from the 'Metropolitan' in soft leather or moccasin, to 'Any Time' and sandals, inseparable travel companions for a summer of complete softness.
The tendency is to follow fashion without giving up care for the comfort of the foot, wear and walk. The legendary 2750 remains the absolute Primadonna, in the classic, delavè jeans, embroidered and unisex sabot models.
Totally new are the models 'Pleasure Basic' and 'Well Being': the former are ironic with rounded shape and vulcanised sole, the latter are trendy, with ultra-light soles and very soft, in nabuk, cotton and soft leather versions.
