Giugiaro Design expand their offer of high quality personal accessories with relevant technical characteristics through a product that distinguishes itself for functionality, comfort, technology and style. The first unisex casual street Giugiaro Design shoe is thus created, dedicated to the emerging social figure of the Bobo - Bourgeois Bohemien - and made in keen association with shoe factory Dribbling.
One of the most distinguishing elements is the sole, a recognisable detail, though not an aggressive one. Characteristic is a sinusoidal motif, enveloping and undulated, running along the whole perimeter of the sole, creating a "protective band" for the foot.
This finishes in the back with a spoiler - containing a hollow with the Giugiaro Design brand - which contributes to giving a feeling of perfect stability, emphasised by rhythmic grooves on the bottom.
The top is softly shaped, laced with a fringe, slightly rounded tip and in two models, calf and calf combined with fabric, in colours ivory, leather, blue and red.
The shoe has a "disappearing" tying with lace holes studied purposely for this sort of effect. On the inside, calf again, there is a comfortable anatomical under-shoe, also in calf, which can be taken out and personalised.
The entire range is on display at the new Spazio Modadesign shop in Milan, in Via Catena -corner Via degli Omenoni, and will be on sale in the best shoe shops starting March 2002. The collection is available in sizes 36 to 46 (Italian size).
