The tool is Eures (European Employment Service), an internal network of public job services of all the European countries, where specialised sections can be found for international hiring, connected between them via telecommunications and with the support of "advisers" who can direct a work search within the European Union. 

Tuscany and Corsica have decided to exchange their online "advisers", thus creating fast exchange and communications channels that can handle the unattended work offers and develop common inserting initiatives for young workers, whether for a fixed period or with training modules.

During the summer period in Corsica there are something like 2 thousand work offers which are constantly unattended; hundreds of places for cooks, waiters, barmen and many other figures of seasonal workers which remain vacant. In Tuscany the situation isn't much better.

The sharing and exchange of "telecom" job offers between Florence and Ajaccio could represent a first step to avoid finding themselves in the same situation of summer 2002.
