Lino's Coffee Shop

Gianduja coffee? or vanilla? if you prefer there is also chocolate or zabaglione, simple or garnished with fresh cream, with a fruity or flowery scent.
The period of the "short", "long", maybe even "macchiato"(with a touch of milk) seems directed towards the sunset boulevard. Today the taste gourmets expect daring matches, innovative proposals, recognisable qualities.
All this and a lot more is on offer in Lino’s Coffee Shop in Parma and the surrounding area. They are five"coffee ateliers" (two in Parma in via Nazario Sauro and in via Repubblica, one in Langhirano, one in Viadana and the last in Traversetolo) which are not just artisan laboratories of the quality coffee-bean but like to propose themselves as "sensual depots", especially for the flavour experimenters.
So, saying coffee is not enough and you can choose the right coffee according to your mood. Varieties are countless, ordered from Brazil, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Guatemala, Jamaica Blue Mountain, Santo Domingo, Hawaii. There's one for everybody. The latest novelty is OrzoParma.
"Barley, which is a healthy and tasty drink, is back into favour gain", says Lino Alberini, the owner of Lino’s Coffee Shop s" and the Parma hill represent the ideal place for its growing. We considered organic cultivation when still few believed in it and today our production is certified as organic".
So there's barley served too. How? With cinnamon, or mint, or orange peel. Sage barley seems to be arriving too. But curious ones remain alert: Lino confesses he is experimenting matches with other spices. For new, intense delights.
