An original interpreter of the top school figurative tradition, De Carlo presents us with an art in which contemporary spirit is revealed through the critical recovery of the past and its aware re-elaboration in a completely new style,  rich with contaminations and metaphors, wanted and sought for.

“Portraits, human and animal, metamorphosis and allegories, eye cheaters and delights for the spirit, costumes and staging, fantasies, legends, inspirations, presumptions…” to discover the artists through and beyond his art, to investigate the sign over the surface and to recognise, finally, its ultimate truth, that is that  “the sense of modernity does not reside in symbolic contents and materials, all already discovered for some time, but in the relation that combines them and reproposes them”. That unicum that creates style, personal, recognizable and unrepeatable.

The inauguration, open to all, will start at 7.00 pm with a complex and stimulating programme. Following Valeria Medda’s introduction, there will be a little vocal concert with tracks that space from Vivaldi to Bernstein going through Rossini and Saint-Saens.
