An incomparable exhibition, an appointment that cannot be missed by Renaissance Florence art lovers. On show, at the Scuderie Papali in the Quirinale, in via XXIV Maggio 16 in Rome, 170 painting, sculpture and applied arts masterpieces from the early 1400s till advanced 1500s.The exhibition means to enhance the fundamental role played by Florence in the epoch's artistic renewal, and then underline the passage of the "baton" with the Popes' Rome. There is also space for other centres that contributed in a crucial way the development of Italian figurative arts, a true school for the whole West: Urbino, Venice, Ferrara, Mantova. A space that cannot be missed by any means is the one dedicated to Leonardo, Michelangelo and Raffaello. The exhibtion will remain open until the 6th of January 2002.
