A pilot experience which, before the end of the year, could be extended also to other «great cultural attractors» of Campania, such as the archaeological areas of Pompei and Ercolano, Paestum,  Campi Flegrei and the Certosa di Padula. 

Napoli Arte Card is an initiative of the Assessorship to Art and Culture of the Campania Region, and it makes the first step towards a progressive enlargement to the cultural and artistic heritage of the entire Region.

What it is
Artecard is an integrated ticket for the duration of 60 hours from which it is used, which enables access to the six most representative museums in Naples -  National archaeological Museum, National Museum of Capodimonte, Certosa and San Martino Museum, Castel Sant'Elmo, Civic museum of Castelnuovo, Palazzo Reale - and travelling on the public transportation network form the 22 March 2002.

How much it costs
€ 13 for adults and € 8 for young people from 18 to 25.

How it works
The kit card - a card with a microchip, information brochure in six months, map of city transportation -  can be bought in presale on the dedicated website, in all the museums of the circuit, in the newsagents, in travel agents, the main hotels, train stations Centrale and Mergellina, Capodichino airport.

Arte card:
- gives free access to two museums of your choice in the circuit and half price for the other four (for young people, free access to all museums)
- enables you to travel free on the entire city transportation network and, in weekends, on the special shuttles
- allows you to obtain a series of discounts on the welcoming services of museums, parking, the main lines of ferries for the islands, on the shows of the Mercadante theatre.
