Indeed, two truly "legendary" venues. "Legendary" because they have gathered in their halls the best names of the International jet set and Italian "young offspring", "legendary" because they have made Verislia’s summer nightlife. The venues spoken of are "La Capannina", in Forte dei Marmi and "La Bussola" in Marina di Pietrasanta-Focette.
The "Capannina di Franceschi", is so called because of its owner, and belongs to Versilia’s and the “Forte”’s history. Artists, playboys, people from the world of industry, of the entrepreneurial class, of politics.
The "Bussola" was the "creature" of Sergio Bernardini, who was a great showbusiness person and a talent-scout – it was him who discovered Mina in 1958 .
During the 50’s the "Bussola" was visited by artists of the calibre of Juliette Greco, Caterina Valente, Milva, Mina; also, Patty Pravo, Josephine Baker, Ella Fitzgerald, Ginger Rogers and even Marlene Dietrich.
It was the "Bussola" Mina chose to say farewell to her public apperances, back in anow distant 1978.
