It was one of the symbol places of the "dolce vita" that was the rage in the 60s, favourite destination of the important names of the International jet set, of politicians, showbiz personalities and "great families" - one among all the Agnelli family, who would spend their childhood summer holidays at the "Forte".

The geographical position is inspiring and enviable: Forte dei Marmi is set in between the Alpi Apuane and the Tyrrhenian sea  along the beautiful seafront and on which the famous beaches lie, the beach bars, the restaurants, the fashionable venues, the hotels.

The centre is closed to traffic, at the "Forte" the bicycle is the means to go anywhere, the prestigious boutiques, the art galleries, the open air cafes are open till late at night to allow a holiday without the hassle of schedules.

Holidaying at the Forte dei Marmi means a "lifestyle". Despite it being a very famous resort, it is a reserved and quiet place loved by fun lovers with "style" without having to show off at all costs.

Tree-lined roads conceal elegant villas where people meet friends, they meet to speak of "serious" matters but also to have a swim in the pool, reserved parties are organised and "alliances" are born that will develop when back in town.
